About KYTOS

KYTOS is a pioneering startup in the development of microbiological management solutions for the aquaculture and crop industries. Our technology is built on decades of leading research in microbiome management and was developed at the Center for Microbial Ecology and Technology (CMET) at Ghent University (Kingdom of Belgium).

Our solution

We believe that managing a healthy microflora is one of the optimal methods to minimize the risk of crop loss. However, it is not easy to manage trillions of microbial cells (1015) in a pond.

At KYTOS, we are your partner throughout the farming season. Our service programs are designed to simplify sampling, analysis, interpretation of results and recommendations.

Aquaculture

From nursery to finished product, we have the tools to manage your microbiome.

Horticulture

From irrigation to growing media, we help protect your crops.

Product

We simplify microbiome management by digitizing data about your microbiological health, presented visually through the web interface and KytoApp mobile application.
